Kidvelo Bikes Delivery Information
Who is Kidvelo’s courier?
We use DPD or DHL to courier our bikes & helmets on a Free Next Day Delivery Service, (2 days if Highlands, Islands).
Bikes leave us Monday through to Friday. Normally sent out the same/next working day of receiving your order.
Please note, after busy weekends on the site, we can’t always fit all the bikes, in the courier vans on a Monday, but it will leave us by Tuesday!
Full DPD/DHL tracking details are sent to your Order email and mobile number the evening the bike leaves us.
With this information, you can
- change the day of delivery,
- request to leave the parcel with a neighbour
- Deliver to local service point/collection shop. Please note if you do request to leave the parcel, when we receive notification that this has happened, the ownership of the bike passes to you.
Spares or clothing may be sent via DPD or Royal Mail
How many parcels?
The Rookie 12 arrives in one box. Sent via DPD – UK | DHL Northern Ireland
The Rookie 14 is sent in two parcels. One is the bike; one is the pedal-kit. Sent via DPD – UK | DHL Northern Ireland
The Rookie 18 is sent in two parcels. One is the bike; one is the pedal-kit. Sent via DHL UK | DHL Northern Ireland
If you request DPD/ DHL to deliver to a local collection point, please ensure you collect both parcels.
Failed Delivery
DPD will attempt delivery three times before returning the bike to us. DHL twice. There is a £15 (DPD) or £20 (DHL – Rookie 18) redelivery charge if we need to resend after a failed delivery and the original bike is returned.
Incorrect Address Details
Please contact us immediately if you have made an error in providing us with an incorrect delivery address. If the bike has already left us, you need to contact us to redirect. There may be a charge to redirect of £10.00 to cover relabelling the parcels, and it will incur a delay in delivery.
Damaged Bikes
We package extremely carefully to withstand the rigours of the parcel network. In the unlikely event your bike arrives in a damaged box, please take photos of the packaging, preferably before unpacking the bike and contact us.
