The Rookie 24 inch works perfectly in pedals-off mode and then converts to an ergonomic, quality lightweight pedal bike; designed to give the rider the perfect positioning and geometry in either mode.

It’s incredibly lightweight and durable, with a 6061 aluminium frame and top-quality alloy components, for children, teens and adults aged approx 9-years-old plus.

PEDALS OFF

The Rookie 24” weighs just 8.7 Kg without the pedal kit fitted with a minimum seat height of 62cm. The bike will fit kids aged eight/nine years through to adults due to its massive range of seat adjustability. It is ideal for those just starting their cycling adventures, that need to learn balance first, using a light frame. With feet flat on the floor, the rider learns how to balance the bike, and uses their feet to propel the bike along without the complication of spinning pedals.

PEDALS ON

Then it transforms into a proper pedal bike, by fitting the pedal kit which is quickly done using the Allen keys provided. At just 10.6 Kg in pedal bike mode, this bike will give you the performance of more expensive bikes but with the added benefit of turning the bike into a lightweight, ergonomic pedal bike at a more affordable price. The maximum seat height is 84 cm. Plus, since it retains the same geometry and handling between modes of operation, learning to ride a bike has never been easier.
