At Kidvelo, we will do everything we can to offer your child the best ‘first bike’ experience. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may return any item purchased from this site for a refund within 30-days of the invoice.

Returns Policy

Since we all share the goal of having your child happily riding a bike, we encourage you to call us as we might be able to resolve the issue without returning the product. All of our kid’s bikes come with both a lifetime warranty on frame and fork, against manufacturing defects and a 30 day 100% Love your Ride satisfaction guarantee.

We welcome feedback and will quickly respond to warranty issues. If you are not satisfied for any reason, PLEASE contact us first at help@kidvelobikes.co.uk

If you wish to return your bike please contact us with your proof of purchase and we will provide you with a Return Number. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Manufacturers Warranty

All of our kid’s balance bikes come with a Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on frame and fork. We cover any obvious manufacturing defects – not covered are damages caused by neglect, crashes, misusage or wear and tear.

Bike components are limited to 2 years (excluding tyres, inner tubes, brake cables, noodles and grips, which are considered to be affected by normal wear and tear)

Replacement of any lost bolts, clamps, nuts and fixings, may be replaced at our discretion, within the first year of ownership free of charge, but postage will need to be covered by the customer.

The warranty is limited to riders under the maximum working weight limit for each bike.

The warranty is valid whilst in your position and not transferable to another owner.

Resolving warranty issues is easy. Simply contact help@kidvelobikes.co.uk and include the following information:

  • Please explain the issue you’re experiencing with your Kidvelo product.
  • Attach a digital photo if possible or use our Contact Us Form
  • Order number or original shipping address.
  • Daytime phone number.
  • Email address.
  • The Production Date and Batch number of your Bike if known.

Unless faulty or a warranty claim,

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, whether returning or exchanging.

Bikes must be returned in original packaging and protected against damage to arrive in “as new”  condition with minimal use.
We suggest using a tracked service.

We can arrange for a courier to collect your bike for an additional cost, depending on your location, so please let us know if you need a quote.

Any damage may be reflected by us giving a partial refund. Notifications of a request to return must be received by email, within 30 days.

If we made a shipping error, such as sending you the wrong color, style, or size, we will gladly arrange a courier to collect to send the item back to us for an exchange or refund. Ordering the wrong size or colour is NOT considered an error on Kidvelo’s part. Please be sure of your choice(s) when making your purchase.

Important: Refunds will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the returned merchandise, which should be returned in as new, and in original packaging, and issued within 1-2 business days but not to exceed 7 days).


We will provide a returns address to send goods back to. This is not our mailing address.

Goods sent back without our prior knowledge may not get identified as yours. Until goods are received to the correct address with a returns number they are still classed as belonging to yourselves and no full/partial refund will be applicable.
