A Balance Bike is simply a bike with no pedals, designed, so its seat height and geometry allow children to put their feet safely on the floor. They learn to balance by keeping the bike upright and using their feet to propel themselves. As they grow in confidence, they will lift their feet for longer, fine-tuning the balance skill that is essential to being able to ride a pedal bike. Using this method will mean you will never need stabilisers.
